Regular Visits

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many practice members become concerned that every visit will be of equal length.

In a word: no. A typical visit may require just five to 10 minutes.

But don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value! With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up the condition of your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way.

Many patients desire to receive what we call structural rehab. This means they are doing therapeutic exercises and spinal remodeling procedures in the office in addition to their regular adjustment. This type of visit may take 45 minutes, time well spent, when you consider the impact on your future health.

Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and you can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes.

We recognize your time is valuable. So we do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.

Dr. Bob Asks some important questions of interest to Louisville residents - Chiropractor Louisville Dr. Bob Asks...

Why are some people allergic to pollen and others aren't?
It's not the pollen. Chiropractors know that if it were, everyone would be allergic to pollen, nuts and pet dander. But that's not the case. It's the person, not the pollen! If you live in Louisville and your stress levels are high, then each year the grass, the trees or the weeds put your nervous system over the top. Many report that chiropractic care helps reduce the frequency and severity of their allergic response.
What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Louisville folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
